This month I’ve been lucky enough to be able to try a brand new subscription box specially designed for blossoming bakers called Bake Box.
I’d previously tried other baking box subscriptions, but Bake Box seemed by far the most tailored to the more advanced baker.
The box is delivered every two months and includes at six specially curated bakeware items with six different step-by-step recipe cards, including two hero recipes, one show-stopping cake recipe, one dessert recipe and two simpler recipes.
Bake Box costs £14.99 per month to subscribe to plus £2.99, which (when you factor in the boxes only arrive every two months) I think is a little on the pricey side compared to other subscriptions. The bonus is, however, that you do get your money’s worth in products, unlike other subscription services (each box contains at least £40 worth of equipment).
I was very pleased with the contents of the box I received, and found the recipes very easy to follow (although the looked complicated). This box is definitely for the more advanced baker rather than a complete novice, and is more focused on decoration and presentation rather than taste. It’s great for giving you new ideas in the kitchen and different ways to decorate and present your dishes.
If you want something through the post other than bills which will give you some great inspiration with your bakes or are looking for a great gift then Bake Box would definitely fit the bill.
