Revolution de Cuba Nottingham is a stunning bar and cantina just off of Nottingham’s busy Market Square and inspired by the spirit of the original party island of Cuba and the natives that didn’t let the system get in the way of a good knees up.
Last night I went along to try out their exciting cocktail menu and tapas for myself, and I wasn’t disappointed.
Throughout January there is 51% off food when you book in advance and 2-4-1 on cocktails between 5pm and 9pm.
There is a lot of competition in Nottingham when it comes to a good cocktail due to the amount of competition already out there. It definitely has to be something you can’t get any where else and must look the part. Revolution de Cuba ticked all the boxes, and although I obviously didn’t sample the entire cocktail menu (it was a school night after all!) the ones we did try were absolutely delectable and showstoppers.
There was also live music when we visited which, although a little too loud, was pleasant and added to the buzzing atmosphere (the restaurant was packed).
When it came to food there was a truly finger-lickingly good selection of Latina cuisine. We opted for some of the tapas dishes which were gorgeous. The calamari was in particularly tasty closely followed by the croquettas filled with cheese and Iberico ham.
I will definitely be returning to Revolution de Cuba, a fantastic asset to the growing range of Nottingham restaurants and cocktail bars.
