Review: Nottingham Food and Drink Festival 2015

10734603Producers from far and wide flocked to Wollaton Park in Nottingham this weekend alongside food lovers from across the country to the Nottingham Food and Drink Festival.

I confess that I only managed to go along for a couple of hours due to an extremely hectic week, but I’m glad I made the effort. The weather was beautiful and it was great being able to walk round the different stalls and sample the different food- I especially enjoyed the cheese!

I was particularly surprised at the amount of variety there was on offer, from Afghanistan cuisine to bushtucker trails for the more adventurous eater.ff

There were also a range of different craft stalls where you could have a go and make things to take home with you and a tent with cooking demonstrations.

If you’re a food lover the Nottingham Food and Drink festival would have made a great day out. It has opened my eyes to the different local producers out there and I am determined to try and get along to a local farmers market in the nearer future.
